Alright, my brothers decided to be nice and get me a Super 44 Flowmaster for X-mas, finally got it to SC. It's a 3" inlet, 2.5" dual outlet, which ain't what I wanted, but i didn't pay for it. I plan on dumping it behind the axle, What are ya'lls thoughts? I wanted a 3 in 3 out, wanted to keep my tail pipe. I haven't heard a 44 behind a 6.0 yet an I'm hoping it'll be loud enough for me. Sound quality is a non-issue, just going for loud. the exhaust will be changed again in a few years anyway.

if you didnt pay for it use it, or sell it and buy what you want. i have a 10 series one chamber muffler from flowmaster and it is pretty loud. i had my backseat out in my ext cab 04 silverado and it sounded like there wasnt a muffler there. i like the sound of the muffler compared to the 40 series two chamber i had before.

I'm gonna go with the 44, I have it, I'm getting it installed cheap, if not free. I wouldn't mind that one chamber though. I just need to get it one I guess, if I hate it, back to straight pipe.
i have 2 44's dumped in front of rear axle myself with just a stock 5 liter and everyone tells me its 2 loud for the neighborhood...HA i say perfect. It sounds great to me and i'll keep it that way. I say go for it.
If thats in your 71, it'll be louder than mine, I have the Emission controls, the Cats, all that b.s., but my exhaust is 3.5inch from the y-pipe out stock. My 89' 350 was straight pipe all the way out no cats, at least for awhile. sounded great.
