The DRL is a seperate bulb next to the turn signal, so it will not always have the headlights on, also you can turn the headlight switch back to the off position and it will turn off the lights.
I already knew that. However I want to prevent the lowbeams from turning on when I feel they don't need to be. Maybe I think I should of been a little more specific. Sorry.
great topic...i've been tryin for a while to figure out how to stop the headlights from automatically turning on the minute the sensor senses its it getting dark. everytime they go on with the sensor only one bulb will turn on and its a pain in the ass...
So your saying the sensor doesnt make the lights come on automatically? I am trying to prevent them from turning on at all. I want to manually do that. I dont think its that simple.
shouldn't pulling the DRL fuse do the job of disabling them? i don't think there's anything else on the circuit, could b wrong though. Dave?...............
