Default 2002 5.3, swapped engine now no fuel

I swapped my engine in my 02 suburban and now when I turn the key I hear the fuel pump but I'm getting no fuel. I disconnected the lines from the fuel rail and fuel leaks out but after I disconnect them and turn the key no fuel shoots out. I pressed in on the Schrader valve on the fuel rail and no air or fuel comes out.

Any ideas? I was just driving it right before I swapped the engine so I doubt the fuel pump went bad like that

Has spark and cranks.

Bought a used 5.3 from a newer truck and put it in my 02 suburban(also 5.3)
Because I had one of the castech heads that developed a crack and leaked coolant.
