Chainging the Center Console
My husband and I just purchased a used Chevy Express and it has the fixed open drawer in the center console, so there is nowhere closed to store things in the cabin. We'd like to switch the center console out with one with a latching drawer (03 10 11 16 Chevy Express GMC Savanna Van Black Center Console Cup Holder with S | eBay) but I want to make sure its as easy to change as it looks like it is....Is it just the screws at the back into the engine cover?

Yup 4 screws in the back. You could pick up a glove box type at an auto wrecker I'm sure. But ebay works too. On the hinged one, you open it a bit then reach up and flip out the rubber stopper so you can fully open it until the hinges at the bottom pop and the door part comes out. Then you can get to those 4 screws to install it.
