Default 00 silverado tire sizes

so i heard if i crack the torsion bars in the front i can fit some 33's on my 2000 silverado, can anyone verify this for me?

But I think that "crank" is the word you meant.


You will need to have the front end re-aligned and also trim some of the plastic off the corners of the lower spoiler to prevent tire rub

still what does that mean, just tighten them all the way to the frame so that the front end sticks up in the air?

tighten them down but keep them even height wise.
I did it on a dakota you get anywhere from an inch or two in height.

Cranking the T-bars does give you lift, But the key is kind of expensive ($100?), and I believe that cranking the t-bars does put more stress on the suspension, causing parts to wear much faster. Personally I would put a body lift on instead, but thats just me.

so on ebay you can pick up the torsion keys for around 60 bucks but some come as kits and have the shock extensions but are an extra $180 and thats all the more they include.. what do ya think i should get
