Default 02 4.3 Died

My truck died on the way home from the store , check engine oil pressure , message came on then it died, it has oil in it, it turns over but wont start any ideas????

You can still have oil (shows on the dipstick), but if you have no oil PRESSURE in the engine, then it is not going to work.

Get a professional mechanic to diagnose the problem for you. Hopefully, you have a bad sensor or something rather than a seized engine.

Motor is not siezed , cause it turns over just fine, it just wont start, it didn't make any funny noises or do anything strange, the light, check oil pressure, and it just quit, do you know if an 02 silverado 4.3 would have some type of safety switch that would shut the motor down if the sensor cant read oil pressure?
