Default 1988 454 sluggish question

I have a k3500 454 and it is running pretty bad (just bought it three weeks ago) At first it started idling high and hesitating so I put a new TPI on it and set it @.637 volts per instructions that fixed the first problem.
Now it seems the hesitation is at 1/4 to 1/2 throttle position.
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

As you mentioned that engine hesitate at 1/4 and 1/2 throttle position then only thing you have to check is oxygen sensor.

What name brand was the Throttle sensor? Some of the name brands are wack right out of the box. TPS may be bad and have a signal range fault which is why you are stumbling on mid-throttle.

And besides you werent sure the high idle was the throttle position problem versus as dirty throttle body or stuck/bad idle speed control solenoid. Dont waste money buying parts you dont need, just give it to me instead.
