Default 1988 Silverado

My 1988 Silverado just quit running yesterday, now it is just dead like there is something wrong in electrical system. Anyone have any ideas what it could be besides the battery. I went an bought a new battery this morning and it still does the same thing, dead as a door nail.

Did it die what it was running ??

Where there any idiot lights on ??

Once you put the new battery in did it crank right up and run ??

How long did the new battery remain charged before the vehicle was dead again ??

I don't want to be harsh but it's likely the reason you haven't received any help is your title. You should outline what your problem is. That way someone sees your posing of your vehicle going dead and has some experience with it is more likely to answer.
With "1988 Silverado" a lot of people think it's just an owner showing off their vehicle, for sale, or ??? and don't even bother to open it.
