2000 Chevy Silverado tail light out
My passenger tail light won't work. The bulb is good and all other lights work. Anyone have any good suggestions on what to try next?
Thanks!!

is it a dual element or single?
I mean does the bulb also double as your brake light?
sometimes the element may look good, but even a nanometer space
between the 2 sides will cause it not to work.
1st look at you drivers side taillight. If it works take the bulb out and try
it in the passenger side to see if it works. That way you could difinitively
say it does not work.
After you do that, if it still doesn't work, you may have a loose wire in the
fixture or it is grounding out or something.
But really, before you start dropping time/money into it, pop another bulb you know is good in there 1st.

Thanks. No, it doesn't run my brake light. Separate bulbs. And I did try a new bulb also but I guess there is a chance it was bad too. I will try swapping the two before I move forward. I am pretty sure it is a wire issue but would love to find it a bulb one insetead.
