Post 2000 silverado 5.3l map sensor issue

Good day all, new member here. Well for the past 6 months ive noticed my truck just not behaving as it normally does. This was also the time that i replaced my heads and head gaskets. Now my truck used to get sh*t and go when i mashed the pedal down and lately it feels like its only running with 85 percent power. so i replaced every sensor know to this truck except the MAP sensor. i took a gamble yesterday and bought a 49 dollar special for carquest. Low and Behold, i forgot what my truck can actually do! i noticed within the first 10 mins that everything just "felt" better. so today i got in it and burned tires on first gear and even had a little left over to chirp 2nd gear! I took the old map sensor apart and on the back of the sensor there is a cavity filled with some gel stuff and a little chip with 3 TINY wires. One wire was not soldered anymore just kinda of laying on the chip board. So mabey this post will help someone its just my 2 cents for a problem that has been driving me crazy.

ps: I had no check eng light and ZERO codes.
