Default 97 K1500 - AC Not Cold. Pump Cylcing

Hi folks,

I just recharged my ac system, not to knowledgable about these systems so I used the AC PRO PROFESSIONAL kit. Watched their video on how to do it. Got the pump to turn on and cycle, one line is hot one line is cold (not sure how cold it should be). Cold line is cold to firewall but no cold air is coming out. The return line which Im guessing is the fat cylinder looking thing on the top of the firewall is not cold. Is my ac system just not getting cold enough?

I had discharged the system just over a year ago when putting in another engine and just now charged it.

What could it be?

the air blowing in the truck seems like its a tad bit cooler than the ambient air, but barely noticeable. My friend said the same thing.
