I just Picked up another 02 Duramax 6.6 and this one is bone stock except for the muffler cut off. I sold it to my buddy and he wants to know how to get it to "roal coal" w/o buying anything too expensive and w/o chipping it.. my 02 will roal coal all day but it has a programmer, aftermarket injectors etc. how can he get this truck to do what mine does w/o buying anything really expensive..?

I was looking at a Volvo preformance chip, those arent really expensive, but will that do it?

I'm pretty sure hell need more than just a programmer, my gf's dad has a 02 Duramax with straight piped exhaust and programmer and it doesn't blow smoke, but it definitely rolls out

i told him to cover his airbox partially (in a sarcastic tone lol) i hope he didnt really do it. i don tknow exactly what it take becuase i did my stuff all at once. but he doesnt wanna spend 4000+ dollars on it.. lol i just need to figure out how the can mess with the fuel/air mixture with messin **** up or spending alotta money.. all i do is turn my programmer all the way up, and it roals coal all day. then again i burn through a tank in about 100 miles. lol. ill keep looking.
