Default 2002 silverado idle problem

I have a 2002 silverado with approximately 74000 miles and it sometimes dies when after starting and when trying to idle such as approaching a stop sign. It might do it one day and not again for a couple of weeks. It has usually restarted fine but the other day after starting and dying, nothing would work even the power door locks but when I tried to start it 2 days later it started fine. Today after a short drive and shut off when restarted it died again. Restarted fine but soon various dash lights began going on and off such as battery light, abs light, brake light, and gauges would flicker. Any suggestions or help would be appreciated

I had a similar problem, have you checked the battery connections are clean? Sometimes it's as simple as that and was the case for me. Best of luck.

sounds like a loose connection somewhere, check battery cables, grounds and all other power sources
