Default 2002 Silverado Reversed defrost & front air

I replaced the mode door actuator and it has full range of motion but the bottom air does not work at all and the defrost and front air are reversed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to the forum....
I suspect that the actuator was place back on in a default position that was different from what your system was set in...

Thank you for the response. I suspect something similar. Do you know how to fix this because the actuator can only go in one way and then the recalibration is supposed to correct it. I have followed the instructions for recalibrating without a scan tool with no luck.

I have not replaced one so I am not totally familiar with the unit, but what I would try is to put the system in a known position to you, i.e. defrost, remove the actuator, leave it hooked up electrically and then set to to the position of last known... that should put the motor in the right position to match up with what it was in when you removed the actuator....

I am having this same problem. Anyone know what to do about it? The calibration mode will not happen on this truck. 2002 2500 HD
