Verify your air filter is clean. Don't worry about your gas filter, you haven't got one.(Boy, was I pissed when I found that out about MY '04- 2500HD-6.0.) Write down the trouble codes, and pay particular attention when you first start your truck. Your DIC may be trying to tell you something.
I've been lucky, haven't had a problem like this so far. Anybody else got any ideas?

yea after plugs and wires fuel filter was my next option and then i found that out also.. had a chevy mechanic scan it tonight and still saying lean on both banks and that the MAF Sensor is low frequency circuit or something. i switched the sensor with the one on another truck and the other truck runs fine with my sensor on it. And mine is still doin the same ol thing.. cleaned the air filter out not to long ago so it should be fine..
still looking for any opinions.. o2 sensors maybe? just hate to play quess and check with electrical parts since they are non returnable...
any help is much appreciated..

While you're under the hood, check the fuse box over the driver side wheel well. I had some dagnab rodents(Dagnab!) living inside the cover. They even ripped fiberglass insulation off my firewall to insulate their nest! Maybe some little unwanted vehicular resident chewed thru a wire. They love our warm and friendly Vortec engines.
