Default tire rotation / wheel sensors

i need to rotate my tires on my 07 silverado LTZ. do you need to do anything special to recalibrate the wheel sensors or do they learn their new position?

Default RE: tire rotation / wheel sensors

After you rotate you need to go through the Relearn sensor position procedures. It's in the manual. More or less you selecte it in the DIC then go outside and let air our of the tires, ina certain order, until the horn beeps and then you go to the next wheel, in specified order. There is a time limit but that is all explained in Manual.

Tip not in the manual. Be near air. You have to let out a lot of air sometimes before it beeps. Youmay be too low to travel far before you refill. You also need to have "cold" tires when you refill to the correct cold pressure setting (parked for more than 1 hour or driven less than 1 mile). I do mine at air supply. Then refill right there.
