Someone please help. I have a 1994 k1500 with the 350. My problem is about half the time i start it to drive it it idles fine warming up but when i start going the service engine light comes on and it sharts shifting hard or not shifting and runs rough. When the gas pedal is half depressed in just chokes out the motor until i let off of the gas it it was run good again, Someone please help me on this brain buster. and again only about every other time of driving the light will come on causing all the problems and sometime it wont even come on and it runs and shifts perfect.

No i dont have a code reader nore do any of my friends

you'll have to either go buy a OBD1 code reader or take to somebody who can do it for free..auto zone or advanced WILL NOT do it..

alright, but no one with any ideas on whats goin on with it. It seams as soon as the service engine soon light comes on the whole computer goes hay wire and sometime it will never come on and run like a dream. Some weird stuff ill tell ya
