Default 2012 Chevy Silverado 1500 trailer lights and wire issue

Need a little help/guidance on this one. I have a 2012 Chevy 1500 truck LTZ withthe towing package and 55,000 miles. It also has the backup camera. Thisweekend is the first time I have towed a trailer with it, and everything workson the trailer well except my regular lights. The hazards, blinkers, and brakelights work. My adapter is the one with the little lights on it that will lightup when it has power. The light for the regular lights did not come on. I took my multimeter and checked the pin for the lights and had no power. I also checked to see if the wiring plug on the backof the bumper was connected well. I disconnected it and checked for power onthe pin for the lights and had no power. I dropped the spare tire and pressedon some more connectors and decided to stop and come back to it later because I did not want to mess nothing up. Inoticed several plugs under the back end that I am not familiar with so I amreaching out for some help.

Yes, my switch was turned on at the dash and I tried it in all positions andstill no power.

Thanks in advance, Ron

No one has had this issue yet? Do any of you know of a fuse somewhere controls only the trailer lights that could be issue? I could not find a fuse in the fuse panel on the left side of the dash that said trailer lights. Thanks, Ron

I know my 04 dually had its own fuse for the running lights for the trailer under the hood in the distribution box. I know because I blow the fuse once all truck lights worked but trailer was out.

Thanks you were right on the money. It was a 15 AMP fuse under the hood marked TRLR PRK lights. Thanks again, Ron
