Default 2012 Chevy Silverado 2500HD mods

Hey guys,
Im wondering what mods you guys have done with your truck.

I was thinking of a exhaust system (cat back) any recommendations?
and maybe a cold air intake, any recommendations?

To anyone who has these mods have you seen any performance increase or mpg Increase?

Thanks for you thoughts, links welcome

Just cut stock muffler off and weld in what muffler you like, run pipe after the muffler...done lol. Intake, any cheap on you can get, they all work the same. These mods help a little, not much. A custom tune via blackbearperformance or gowheatley will wake it up big time

Blackbeard autocal is probably goin to be the best bet....or if you want, do a local dyno tune. Find a reputable shop that does dyno tunes with free retunes and see what they can do

I'm just an amateur hobbyist, joined the forum way too late to see all the variety in options there are. I used to browse site like dotcomdiesel.com and look what they have for my truck, always got up with some ideas. CAI and exhaust were my 1st upgrades
