Default 2015 1500 Crew Cab 4x4 V6 - Car Hauler?

Okay... so I'm curious, can the new V6 half ton legally and safely pull a 1500-2000lbs car hauler trailer with another 4000-4500lbs truck on it?

I'm sure it could, but in the end it's still a v6 no matter the numbers. Will prolly hate life at pullin 6-7k lbs

How long is the v6 life expectancy pulling a trailer loaded with 7K?

What does the owner's manual say it's rated for?

No idea - Chevrolet.com Live Chat was unable to provide this information and I'm too lazy to stop by a dealership. That's why I am trying to find out

Basically I'm asking because I don't think I'll be afford a new Silverado but I am trying to try to consider it... Sick of fixing my 83 all the time.

My primary concern is the transmission in the 1500 might not hold up to towing a car hauler once in a while (not every day) especially because GM's light duty trannies of old don't like big weight (my 96 Yukon's 4L60E catastrophically failed for no reason other than moving a 4000-pound SUV around for 120k miles) maybe their newer ones are better, IDK. Their heavy duty transmissions are great, but the 6.0L gasser gets bad MPG and the Duramax is too expensive.
