Hello everyone, this is my first post on here and i have a quick question, i want to put 33 inch tires or bigger on my 2002 Silverado 1500, and i also do alot of towing/hauling so i figure some extra stiffness would benefit me. my buddy just bought a new truck and its a 97 1500, and the guy before him put in 2500 leaf springs in the back on his 1500, he said it gave him 2-3 inches of lift (which is all i think i need) so i was thinking of doing this (if it works?) and putting a 2 inch leveling kit in the front, does anyone know if this would work at all? im guessing it would just bolt right in. and are they easy to replace or is it one of those jobs? all answers appreciated. thanks!

yes they will bolt right in. i picked up a set for mine at junkyard for like 50 bucks. its nice i like it. i also did a 3 inch lift upfront and i run 33's and truck looks good. look at my thread on my truck and tell me what u think. if u have any questions just send me a message on here.

not saying its easy. but the slide right in. i know i had to cut the one bolt a little shorter to get it out. and also u will want to raise your bump stops the same amount
