Default Cheap upgrades for '80/'81 K10?

Hey guys, just a little background on my pick-up. It was built by a man in Oklahomo that had intended to use it for mud-bogging, but they came into some financial troubles, and now it's in my hands. It has the chassis, suspension, etc. from an '81 K10, and the cab from an 1980 C10, as well as the 350 V8 from the '80. It has a 3" body lift, and a 2" suspension. I was told it had 20"(?) glass packs, but I'm not sure on this. I was just wondering what would be some upgrades that would give an immediate performance increase that are on the cheaper side. Thanks.

What cam is in it? With large tires I would go down in cam size "go for torque not HP" torque is low end and cruze, HP is high RPM and generally BAD millage. Headers, intake, TBI, ot TPI will generally help MPG across power range (pull from a car = cheapest) no need of an after market harness, use the one out of the donor car. it is easy to mak a stand allone harness out of the original, will require reprograming.
