Hi, I own a 1995 Chevy Silverado truck. My husband has stage four lung cancer and cannot look at the truck to see what exactly is wrong as far as trying to fix it and I was wondering if somebody could maybe give me a hint so I know what questions to ask and where to start to get it fixed.


The truck doesn't drive forward, only in reverse. I have no clue what I'm doing and I'm trying to figure out what to do. Thank you!

Just a suggestion have the shifting solenoid on the tranny checked. I can't say how to do it unfortunately but I've seen it happen a couple times

First thing , check to see if the transmission fluid is low .

After that , were it mine , I would have to take it to a good transmission shop .
