Default Bed Cap Removal on '07 Classic

I am not a fan of Bed Caps due to the dirt and grim getting under then and the hassel of washing to get it all out each time i go off road and then wash the truck. I am about to get my bedliner sprayed and was wondering what was the pros/cons of removing my bed caps and having it sprayed over the rails also. I know there are a few holes where clips are held on each side and I am ok with those holes. Also in the removal anyone know if that is the only thing holding those caps onto the bed, or is there some two sided tape also or anything of the nature. I am just wondering those things before i get to taking them off and screw something up that i don't know about.
