Default 5.7 lower intake problem take a look

Just got my motor back and got it unwrapped. First thing I notice is on the front of lower intake both sides have inlets one for coolant on for exhaust. Well the coolant inlet has the fitting broke off inside intake. Exhaust inlet has what looks like power coating or something all around threads. Pretty pissed. All ready f ed up and stripped exhaust inlet threads so can I retap that? The place that remaned the block said they have a tool to extract the broken fitting.

I'd be talking to whoever did the work before I messed with anything else. If they had any kind of warranty you may void it. The paint on the threads shouldn't be a big deal just run a tap through to clean them.

I would DEMAND they repair or replace the intake. Knowing you paid good $$$$$$ for the repair and they CANNOT expect you to accept this. Good luck and travel safe.
