Default 91 chevy silverado fuse box

theres a fuse box it looks like with fusable links under the dash up against the firewall. the previous owner hooked up an alarm to it and basically unhooked it halfway and im trying to get it figured out.

i got it for the most part, but there are 2 bosch 12v links (little black boxes with prongs coming out of the under side of them) that have wires attached to the prongs that are attached to the wiring for the alarm.

are those fusible links supposed to go into the box against the firewall?
