Default '93 Overheating After Thermostat was replaced

Hi folks. I just bought a '93 CK1500 about a month ago. It started overheating so I replaced the thermostat. Now its overheating again and im lost on what to do next. When I popped the hood there was antifreeze sprayed all over under the hood. Anyone have any idea on what it could be? Im new to mechanics.
