I'm new to these forums and I'm wondering if anyone has any advice on what type of muffler i should get. I have a stock on right now and I'm looking for sound like a deep sound. It has to be legal too (pass inspection). Thanks for any help

I just got my cherrybomb turbo installed on my truck yesterday. As far as loudness goes, if you put open exhaust at a 10 and glasspacks at a 8.5, then mine is probably at about a 6.5- 7. It will get a little louder when it gets fully broken in, but it's great. I bought it from Jegs for 47 after all the shipping and everything. I got my local shop to install it (after I cut the old muffler off) and they put a turndown on it a ittle before the axle. The install cost me 40. 87 for a great sounding exhaust is hard to beat.

I also found out that my exhaust is not a 3" like it was stated to be everywhere I looked. I was going to do the install myself and do the welding myself but when I got the old muffler and tailpipe off, I realized the exhaust was like 2 3/4". I didn't want to screw anything up so
I just took it to the shop. They had to needed items to do a perfect install. So here's a word of advice, if anyone is doing any exhaust work yourself, make sure to measure the exhaust pipe diameter. It will save money.
