'97 1500 cranks but wont start when rains
hi, i have a 97 1500 4x4 with the 350 that will not start every time it rains. This is a daily driver that just started acting up. The motor cranks just will not fire over. Every now and then it will act like its going to start and then quits. I put a timing light on the plugs wires and i do have spark. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum...
Need to check fuel pressure just to eliminate pressure as a cause, but most likely you have a bad/cracked distributor cap, may also want to look at the coil wire to distributor....

sun has been out most of today went back out and truck fired right up. probably will replaced distributor cap, rotor, plugs and maybe wires this weekend and see what I have after that.
