Default 99 Chevy Brake issues?

I have a 1999 Chevy silverado Z71 with the 5.7 in it. I just recently replaced the brake shoes on the rear and also put new pads and rotors on the front. My problem is the brakes sometimes catch or seem hung up and It makes my truck shake. I also started to hear a loud pop noise like something is breaking free after its been sitting for awhile. Now this problem doesnt happen every time and when I push the brakes the sound and shake goes away, but I need to fix this issue because its never did this before. Any help would be appreciative.

Thanks Andy

Do you have a 99 NBS? I have a 99 and I have disc brakes on all 4 wheels. It also has drums in the rear for the emergency brake. If these aren't installed correctly they can cause what you are describing.

Sounds like the caliper is sticking. Did you lube the slider bolts? The other possibility is that the caliper piston is sticking, which would require a caliper replacement.

Yep slider bolts were all lubed up before putting it back together. I drove it today and it didn't act up at all so I dont know what to think at the moment. I thought my calipers could be shot, but they never made the noise before so I would assume that they work just fine.
