throwing my 2 cents
Ive had my Silverado since 07. The AFM has worked amazingly for me. i drove from Anchorage to Homer and averaged 24.7 mpg and I moving 
. I also drove from Anchorage to Grand Forks ND with my wife 3 dogs and 3400 pounds of our stuff in the bed and averaged 20.8. So i must say that I have been extremely happy so far, but it dont do much around town.

Issue
I have a Tahoe LT 2007 with AFM. Recently I let my battery run out and now it doens't seem like it switches to V4 anymore. Any ideas what could have happened? Maybe something got reset when the battery died?
