Default Adding a Sub to Bose System

I have a 2004 Silverado LS with the BOSE system. I wanting to add a sub and amp to this system. I have read that it is possilbe, and was wondering if anybody has done this or knows how to do it?

the only way id know to do it is get a new head unit with ac jacks and run it from there you can always keep your stock door speakers and it can be done

old post but just in case some on need it:

Yes, u can add aftermarket woofer. Get signal from bose sub, connector in center console, under cup holder. There is one connector on the right with 4 wires. Pick one.

This is work with 2007-up with Bose
