Default bed to flatbed conversion

I'm new to the forum and wish to pick the brains of some bowtie truck lovers. I have a 2002 2wd extended cab Silverardo that I would like to convert from its standard pick up bed to a flat bed. Does any one know of any kits or how to info. I would plan to have built in tie downs and a winch. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks Nick C.

do not know of a kit but you want to be sure and protect the fuel fill hose.

look at some other trucks that have flat beds and get ideas.

also you have to provide hookups for the rear lights and bumper.

they are nice but i havent seen a kit ,i used to sell them several year's ago and they are basickly universal and you make them fit every application . depending on how handy and mechinicly inclined you are you can make it your self or modify a production unit ,depending on what you want .steel tread plate or wood floor to start with .there are both avalible that you can start with .
