New Here. Lot a questions
Well I have aquired a project truck. I have a 79 GMC Grande 15 400 Small block 4x4. 8 lug axels.
I am normally wrenchin on my dodge or vette..
1st Where is the best place for suspension parts? I need springs, shocks, ball joints, tierods, ect.
2nd Cab mounts..
3rd What trannys can i use witht the 400 block? I have a 3spd auto with 4:10 gears. It sits at 3200 rpm at 55mph. I want another gear or over drive.
4th can 350 intakes an headers work on the 400's?
5th Aftermarket dashes. looking for stainless or powdercoated. (Racing theme) With gauges..

brotherstrucks.com is better for the older chevy trucks, and they are always cheaper than LMC. And brothers should answer the other questions too.
Go on ebay motors, type in 700r4, then find a company called jackson's performance transmissions. They have a good built up 700r4 for cheap and a converter. They're out of NC.
