ok, so i am looking to cam a 2002 silverado and would like some input on which cam would go good with a daily driver.. also could you recommend the correct stall for the application you recommend... as of now the truck sits stock other then a cold air intake and cat back exhaust. 5.3 v8 vortec motor and i believe its the LM7?

What are your plans for it? I know quite a few who recommend doin a 212/218 114 lsa cam with a 2800 stall(stock trailblazer stall). Do you plan to do headers with a tune as well?

yes, i have pacesetters long ttube headers for it, just want to get a cam first so i can do all the work at the same time.....

My plans are to do a 212/218 112 lsa with a 2800 verter plus my 4.88 gears and built tranny. Should be a good setup. Are you runnin stock tire/wheel setup or different?

For sure have it all ready to go in at the same time. Personally if I wasn't lifted I'd do a 221/221 114lsa with a 3k stall.

i was going to go with a lift kit, but decided to go with a leveling kit instead.. Im happy with it.... for tires i currently have bfg mud terrains on stock 17s

also i am putting a lot of thought into doing to lifters, pushrods and timing chain while i have it all apart... I haven't really put a lot of research into it as of yet but can I use LS1 lifters or is there something better to use? How about valve springs?

If you don't go to big then yes you can use those from an ls1. I think the springs are the yellow beehive springs. Will hold like .650 lift or somethin like that. And yes change the pushrods out while you're in there. 7.4" hardened ones. Do you know what gears you have? Might want to do those as well.
