Default Can the A\C switch cause ... HELP!

ok my ac switch is bad. its burning up. so its iffy on working. well the mode switch just stopped working. as well as the ac button and the circulation button. now they were working. could the ac and heater control switch cause those to go out also?

Check the black 8 way connector on the back of the a/c control head , there is a good chance it is melted.

Reset it and see if it cures. If not, replace the head.

Yeah it melted. But other buttons still not workong after i fixed that

the head probably got fried if it was hot enough to melt the connector

I thought so. Whats tge 4 wire pigtail. It plugs up behind the speef switch but to nothing. No male connectors
