Default DIC Codes P0449 and P0455

Hello everyone, this is my 1st time posting, but have done alot of browsing the past few days and from what I can tell this has alot of great info dealerships are not willing to tell you. Anyway I am getting the subject codes above and found many great tips from various threads on different trucks and cars. Here is my truck info

2009 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 2WD Ext Cab 143.5" LT
Miles: 43500

So when this happened a few months ago I took it to autozone to get the system read and it came back with the subject codes. So I did some research and found out that it is really not that serious, but should be fixed at some point, so I can use my remote start again

So I finally took it in a few days ago for an oil change and also have them look at the codes ($89.95) and they got the same codes and informed me that it would be an estimate $469.95 to fix it and I just smiled. They said I need a new vent value and kit. Of course I declined it, because no way I am going to pay that much, which most of the cost has to be the labor.

I brought the vehicle back home and decided to take a look underneath to find what I need to replace and I think I found it. From the looks of it, it already has the new system instead (one with 2 hose) since it is an 2009.

Looks like it is easy to install. My question is, I am on on the right track from what the dealership is telling me? I sent them a message to give me the part numbers I need, so maybe I can find them somewhere else.

Any good instructions out there with good images on how to replace this vent value? Thanks in advance for the assistance.

John
