Did the 2001 silverado come with the 4.8l and 4x4 together?

Did the 2001 silverado come with the 4.8l and 4x4 together?
I was wondering because i'm looking to pick up a 4x4 silverado 2door and short cab but it's 4x4 with the tow package. I was wondering if it is the 4.8 or 5.3. Also what packages came with it power windows and locks?

Most 4x4s are 5.3...in the 99-02 range. They started to put the 4.8s in 03 and later if I remember right..and generally yes power windows, locks, seats etc. come with it
