I get a wicked vibration at around 30 to 35 MPH on acceleration and braking. i have new tires with balance, replaced the carrier bearing and transmission mount (Both were shot) any ideas? i was thinking possible a loose converter. this is a 1991 chevy extended cab C1500 2WD HELP! Could a u-joint cause such a problem?

u-joints on drive line or pitman arm for steering. good luck

Hows the disks on your front brakes are they in need of turning?Hows the idler arm ?
