Default Hid help

I have a 2010 silverado Z71 and I'm wanting to have HID lights in my low beams and DRL. So my question is are they 2 separate bulbs or if I replace my low beams will that also change my DRL?
Thanks JT

Great, so do they make a relay or something or a conversion kit where your DRL can work with hid or how does that work. This is all new to me.
Thanks
