I have a 2008 Silverado LT, 2WD, 5.3L. It now have over 113,000 miles on it. I bought it new in October 2007. I have very few problems with it, the main problem was 3 bad throttle bodies but I think that is more of a GM supplier issue than GM itself. I would put this truck up against anything Ford, Dodge, Toyota makes as far as quality and I bet mine would win! I love this truck.

1979 k5 2wd blazer 345000 km on original trans, and rearend original 305 was pulled because it was getting tired and sucking the gas back, not out of necessity, and before i got the truck nothing had ever been touched and leaked no oil, then i got it, ran the **** outta it on long trips for 3 years, then the motor got tired

1997 Tahoe at 201,000 and still strong...still pulling a trailer. Mobile 1 since new. Never had an oil change at less than 15,000 miles. Last couple of oil changes it was less than a quart low at 15k.

My 94 k1500 has 153000 miles on it and its been through a motor and tranny but I love it anyway.
