Default Installing Kenwood 9140 in 09 2500HD, need reverse wire

Hi, I've been searching for about an hour now and can't find this answer.

I am installing a new Kenwood 9149 navigation unit into my 2009 Silverado 2500HD ext cab. I need to find an easily acceptable source for the reverse light signal to trigger the reverse camera. Does anyone know where I can find that? On another forum I found where someone patched into the under hood fuse box backup lights?

Thanks for any help you can give.

Why can't you just tap the wire going to the backup light?

Go to the BCM under the dash.

Brown connector, Dark blue wire. Depending on the build of the truck, it will be either in pin position 7 or 11.

didn't your integration module provide you with NAV outputs?
