Default Need muffler suggestion

Put long tube headers with a ORY on the truck and and now its a bit on the loud side for me but more importantly Its really raspy and crackling sounding. I have a flowmaster 44 on it. And was looking for suggestions to take care of this.

If you like the way it sounds just put a 20$ bullet in front of the flowmaster and it'll quiet it down some. If not, magnaflow was a good choice for me when I did longtubes

All bullets I have found are atleast $50. Are you referring to just a normal glasspack for $20? I was thinking a magnaflow maybe but does magnaflow have just one muffler or is it Like the flowmasters were they have many different series?

A bullet is a glass pack essentially. And there is a lo of different types of magnaflows out there. Short, long, fatter, skinny, just depends on what you want. I have a 18" long case 4x9 height/width and it's got a offset in/out and I love it

Still pretty loud Or mellowed out some? Before I put the headers with the ory it wasn't loud enough when ya got on it but now its too loud and a lil annoying at cruising speeds.

It's perfect, I ran it single in single out into a 4" in 6" out 18" long diesel tip and its deep as hell. Sounds perfect and turns heads everywhere

I might try a glasspack first since its much cheaper then a magnaflow. There glasspacks I should go with? Like I said it just really raspy and crackly sounding when you get after it and its a bit on the too loud side. Thrush glasspacks or cherrybombs ok?

Do you think that will quiet it down enough?

There a place to pick up magnaflows pretty cheap? I'm not really sure what route to go. A magnaflow wont have that drone in the cab around 2grand the flowmaster has either will it?

Put a 18" glass pack in front of it. Should do the trick. And my magnaflow doesn't have any drone but I have 35x12.5 mud graps so I'm sure it does have some kind of drone I just don't hear it over the tires

I know there are plenty of companies that make knock off flowmasters but are there any that make knock off magnaflows?
