Need New Alternator and am missing RPO code sticker
Can someone help me. I believe I'll be soon replacing the alternator on my 2003 Silverado 1500 work truck, regular cab. It has a 4.8 L engine with 134,000miles. Only bought the truck a month ago.
Can anyone out there send me the build codes for it. I wanted to see what the stock alternator is/was etc. Also, would I have flexibility to upgrade to a HD Alternator for more juicing, amps etc..Would this do any harm and is it a good upgrade consideration???
MY VIN is 1GCEK14V83E113276
As mentioned in Title of thread, I only have the remnants of a white sticker in glove box which I assume held the RPO codes..There is nothing else in box to tell me anything so I just have the VIN
