Default New Seats Needed

My 2003 Silverado 1500 work truck needs new seats. Drivers is pretty ripped. It has just the front 40/20/40 seats. I know there are two options:
seat covers
new oem or replacement seat based correct build code which is AE7.
Can anyone help me find out where to go to get either one or how much I might be looking at $$ with either choice.
Were leather ones ever offered on that work truck model and if so, could those be found?
Pricey but "what the heck" I should at least know the cost of my alternatives.
Thanks

look on ebay for some used seats or just have them re-done, I got quoted a price of 1500 to have my whole interior re-done in leather, on a extended cab, front seats and rear seats, you could have them re-done in vinyl for about 600 bucks I bet, good luck,

YOu want an automotive upholstry shop. They can redo the whole seat and repair foam or they can even match the original and sew in pieces. It sounds like you should go for the custom redo of all seats. That's because original fabric is over priced. Leather is overrated it's hot when it's hot and cold when it's cold. I'd go body cloth, much more comfortable and wears pretty good. I would also suggests you have the center insert pleated, this allows the cover to stretch and move better and not stress the seams as much.
