no trailer tow mode

2005 silverado1500 5.3 engine. cant engauge Trailer-tow mode.is it fused seperately? cant find it listed in the owners book.did I miss it ?No lite comes on,on the dash.hasent worked in 12 or more months.thanks in advance.th

That issue is just about always a bad switch or the wiring to it.
