Yesterday in my 1995 Silverado 1500 4x4 5.7L V8 I Changed the brake booster. After the job was complete I drove the truck 2-3 times. Now when i get in to drive and use my gear selector level to switch to reverse or any other gear for that matter. It wont lock into any gear, like the truck just sits in neutral. When i attempt to switch back to park, it grinds for a second or two until to lock back in to park. What could have caused this?

Retrace your steps. You must have moved something out of place causing your new problem.
