Default OBDII Code P1345

A code came up on my diagnostic check (P1345) the truck runs, but it idles very rough. So would I just need to time it properly to make the code go away?

Had to do an intake rebuild, a new ignition coil and injectors. So I had to pull the distributor out to do the lower intake, but the gear looked fine. And what type of scanner do I need to time it?

Default Help!!!!!!!!

Hello, my 98 Bravada is doing the same thing. It runs but rough and I keep getting the P1345 code. I have set the distributor 3 times according to the book and still the same thing. Did you get yours fixed?

P1345 usually means your distributor is not set correctly

From what i've seen the scanners are kind of expensive that do this feature you might want to contact the dealer or shop that has one,i must have gotten lucky with mine after setting it i got the code but moved the distributor in the direction of rotation in very small increments untill the code went away i'm looking into a do all scanner myself i think some of the old snap-on ones on e-bay will do it but not sure what expansion packs i would need

All I did to get rid of the code was to time the truck just by hand turning the distributor, then after I did that I just hit erase on my Diagnostic trouble code reader and the check engine light went away and now the truck runs great! Hope for the best for you.

Thanks for the reply cpollock, the problem that I have is that the distributor hold down is not adjustable on my distributor was yours the same way or did you modify it to be turned?

Mine had a little piece that holds the distributor down with a single bolt and I loosened off the bolt a turn and it loosened the distributor so it could be turned, yours should have it.
