I've had an '89 silverado for 21 years and now a '93 K2500 with only 20,000 miles on it so I should be good for another 20 years. The thing that has been driving me nuts forever, is that when I take my oil filler cap off of the valve cover on my 5.7(350), the dirt or sand on the uphill side of the cap can fall into the hole. Does anyone know where I can find a short extension that threads into the valve cover and accepts the threaded cap on the top? That way I am above the sand accumulation. Thanks.
