Question Oil pressure fluctuation

I have a 2007 Chevy Silerado that I just replaced the lifters and cam on..
Last night we refilled the oil and started the engine and it sounds great, only problem is that the oil pressure gauge keeps staying between 20 and 40 and when I stop to idle it drops but when I accelerate it goes back up to around 30 and it used to stay at 40.
We did not change the oil pump as it was fine before..
I put a hgh mileage 5 w 30 oil in it... Would that make a difference

it's fairly normal. Mine does same. Sits at about 20 idle, then goes up as you step on it. Colder outside - higher cold start pressure. Same goes for battery gauge - sits at about 14 after start up, then drops down to 12 or so.

I also replaced the timing chain but NOT the oil pump... It sounds great running so I just wanted some opinions from other Chevy owners
